O’Reilly’s is proud to present our bi-annual The Design Sale, an auction showcasing examples of Modern design through the 19th c. through to current day. Featuring jewellery, artworks, object d’art and more, commencing on the 14th of May. Please join us for public viewing, open from Sunday 11th of May. The auction will commence on the 14th of May at 12pm.

- By registering to bid with O’Reilly’s you agree to our terms and conditions of sale.
- All bidders in our auctions will pay a total of 22% (inclusive of 23% VAT) on the hammer price. O’Reilly’s aftersales offers will pay the premium of 22% (inclusive of 23% VAT) on the reserve price. Bids placed through Easy Live Auction & Drouot carry an extra 3.69% (incl. VAT) internet surcharge.
- Payment is by DEBIT card or bank transfer, details available upon request. Credit cards are not accepted.
- BIDS PLACED ONLINE constitutes a legal contract to buy and CAN NOT BE CANCELLED once entered.
- Buyers must satisfy themselves as to all such matters regarding condition, provenance, defaults, etc. before placing a bid. Whilst O’Reilly’s is reasonably satisfied that all such catalogue descriptions are correct, no responsibility can be assumed if subsequent gem unsetting and testing disproves these opinions.

International Post
- We ask for goods being sent outside of the island of Ireland that a courier is organised to collect and deliver the goods such as DHL, DPD, UPS, FedEx, or Mail Boxes Etc.

- O’Reilly’s Auction Rooms 1948 Ltd are not responsible for packing, shipping, and handling of goods being sent internationally
- Please contact the office if you have any questions or need guidance in organising a courier

Internal Post
- We strongly encourage collection where possible for buyers based on the island of Ireland
- If collection by the buyer or a trusted party is not possible, the auction rooms can organise registered post for certain items with An Post for an additional fee and at your own risk.
- By agreeing to registered post with An Post, you are agreeing to accept the risk and responsibility of post and understanding that the auction house is not responsible for any loss or damage caused whatsoever including packing, shipping & handling of lots/items, and non-arrival of goods
- O'Reilly's Auction Rooms 1948 Ltd. is not responsible for any loss or damage caused during posting. We do so purely as a courtesy to our customers.
- Please contact the office to arrange payment for postage which is deemed to be acceptance of above conditions
