About us

O’Reilly’s Auction Rooms, established in 1948, has specialised in the sale of jewellery for over seventy years. Located on Francis Street, in the heart of Dublin’s Antiques Quarter, Fine jewellery will always be the focus of our monthly auctions.  We aim to provide a friendly, accessible environment in which to buy and sell, a select edit of modern and antique jewellery particularly pieces from the Georgian, Victorian, Edwardian and Art Deco periods and luxury and designer brands.

We are delighted and proud that so many generations have chosen to celebrate their most special moments with a visit to us – and we are so pleased that our reach has now spread online too, so it’s possible to experience the O’Reilly’s Auction Rooms offering wherever in the world our clients might be.

Diamond solitaire rings, three stone rings, and five stone rings feature alongside diamond line bracelets and stud earrings; sapphires, rubies, emeralds and other coloured stones are offered along with antique gold pieces and timepieces. Signed pieces by Cartier, Tiffany & Co., Bulgari, Harry Winston, Rolex and Boodles amongst others appear frequently. Antique silver, gold coins, paintings and general antiques round out the monthly offering.

When consigning to sell, we ask clients to simply make an appointment to meet with one of our valuers, who will offer an appraisal of the item (s) as well as a guide price to the auction estimate. We are happy to provide an auction market estimate with no obligation to sell with us.

If looking to buy, we invite clients to browse our online catalogue in the run up to the auction; the week before the sale we open for public viewings where items can be examined and tried on, with our staff on hand to offer trusted opinions and advice.

With an experienced and enthusiastic team of specialists on hand, O’Reilly’s is ready and waiting to advise on all aspects of the auction process, whether clients are looking to buy or sell. We look forward to welcoming you to our auction rooms whenever we might be of assistance.
